Not all lifesaving sport participants take part in competition,
but for the majority who do, the Society offers annual provincial and national championships.
Canada's National Lifesaving Team and other Canadian teams also
participate in international competitions like the International
Life Saving Federation's biennial World Lifesaving
Championships, or the Royal Life Saving Society's Commonwealth Lifesaving

New Brunswick Championships rely on the support of volunteer
officials to take on a multitude of roles.
